Skivo Academy has been an official BASI partner for 10 years, specialising in high performance skiing and Ski Instructor training at the most elite levels. We have very high pass rates for students coming from the BASI Level 3 ISIA training and BASI Level 4 training courses.

Based in Courchevel, Skivo Academy offer high quality, using only the most experienced and inspiring coaches that can both demonstrate and coach to an elite Level.

The unique combination of exclusive use of private training pistes and state of the art equipment means facilities are on point. Add in fantastic ski coaching and a periodised timetable and you are looking at a ski instructor training course that is built to perform! The sole intention is to produce the most successful outcomes in your BASI Level 3 ISIA and BASI Level 4 ISTD.
Skivo Academy offer Giant Slalom and Slalom race training camps for pre FIS, FIS, ski instructors and Masters ski racers in Courchevel. During the winter months there is race training for the Eurotest and Test Technique operating every week. Based on the Courchevel World Cup race piste, this is open to all and is periodised based on upcoming Eurotests.
Skivo Academy are experts in running Masters race camps and have produced many wins and podiums.
During the summer school holidays Skivo Academy has been offering kids ski camps for over 10 years in Les 2 Alpes. Focusing on high performance skiing, ski racing and more recently freestyle. The summer ski camp offers an inspiring environment alongside the world's best skiers. The kids ski academy has taken youngsters that were previously holiday skiers and transformed them into ski racers, ski instructors and national ski team members.
Skivo Academy also runs non residential trips during the winter holidays. We offer talented young skiers in Courchevel, 3 Valleys a place to learn at a much higher level than a ski school would normally offer on our winter ski camps.
Why Train with Skivo Academy
Since 2009 Skivo Academy has proven its worth in the elite skiing world. After starting as Summer Ski Camps for kids it added ski instructor training and race training in Courchevel. These programmes have seen those that joined them reach the top of their fields whether it's National Alpine Ski Team, World Cup Ski Cross or BASI Level 4 instructors.
However these excellent outcomes are not simply the work of Skivo Academy, they are down to the individual that has tirelessly worked to reach those levels. Skivo Academy may have provided the launch pad but the credit should go entirely to the individuals. We focus on our process, each and every day, trying to improve what we do, whether that is piste selection, equipment choice, programme planning, coach selection, mentoring students for exams, you name it, we try to improve it. It is our ethos to have the students' improvement and welfare as our main aim and it is our constant effort to improve that gives students the best opportunities to fulfil their potential.
At Skivo Academy we do not like to look just at those that have reached the top of the field, we like to look to support those at every stage of the cycle and ensure they are getting the best training they can be by offering support, advice and motivation.
